For those who love sharing and want a room in a flatshare, you can expect prices starting from 635 €. But, if having your own private space is more your thing, we’ve got cosy studio apartments available from 900 €.

For POHA House Preuswald there are plenty of spaces in front of the building where you can park your car.

Renting with your significant other is definitely possible if you want to live in a studio. Just keep in mind that there’ll be a little extra charge of €200 per month to cover the costs for two. In some POHA Houses we also have flats that accommodate up to 6 people.

In POHA House Aachen we offer an ideal solution for students looking for suitable apartments. We have fully furnished 1-bedroom apartments and flatshare options that are located close to the universities. All apartments and shared flats are equipped with a full range of amenities that allow for comfortable living. The inventory ranges from cutlery, cookware to a desk lamp that makes long hours of studying or working easier. In the shared flats, there is a modern kitchen and a living room where you can watch TV or hangout with your roommates.

The rent covers all utilities such as electricity, heating, wifi and water. The rental price also includes our community spaces, our mobile app, customer support and a nice community manager who will answer your questions on site. Additional benefits included in the rent include various community events and workshops that are a perfect mix of fun and networking opportunities.

We understand that you might not have extra cash readily available to use as a deposit. That’s why we offer two convenient options for securing your rental: you can either pay a deposit equivalent to 2 months’ rent upfront, which will be fully refunded to you upon moving out, or opt for a more flexible approach by paying a small monthly fee with deposit insurance through our partner rentcard. If you choose the second option, there’s no refund when you move out.

The standard minimum rental period in all POHA houses is 12 months. You can stay as long as you like. Please note the notice period of 3 months if you wish to terminate the contract and bear in mind that contracts can only be terminated on the last day of the month. We also offer more flexible lease terms, ranging from 6 to 11 months. Please note that these shorter-term options typically come with a higher rent than what’s advertised on our portal, to reflect the added flexibility. For stays between 1 night and 182 days, we recommend choosing POHA Stay, which is designed specifically for shorter durations.

To rent a 1-bedroom student apartment and flatshare in Aachen you need to go through a verification process handled by our partner rentcard. You just submit all the necessary documents to them for verification. Additionally, linking your bank account is required, and rentcard will generate a score for you.
