2019

Changing the housing industry

POHA House was founded in Aachen by 3 family members with the belief that traditional housing needs to evolve. We saw how people were struggling with rigid housing options that didn’t meet their needs for flexibility, connection, and community.

2020

Crafting a dream team

In 2020 we began building a team to bring our vision to life. What started with a small group of dreamers has grown into a passionate team of 30 talented individuals.

2021

From concept to creation

When we started designing our product, the goal was clear: to create spaces that seamlessly blend living, working, and connecting while prioritizing sustainability and comfort.

2022

First building is live!

In 2022, POHA House Münster brought our concept to life. Münster set the stage for what POHA House is all about: creating spaces that feel like home while encouraging connections and personal growth.

2023

Bringing POHA House to Aachen

In 2023, we launched three POHA Houses in Aachen - Cospaces to live, work and stay under one roof. And we are just getting started.

2025

We’re working hard to bring POHA House to more cities, build new communities, and create even more inspiring spaces. Stay tuned — big things are coming!

With 18+ years of experience in residential development, Yianni is the visionary who transforms our spaces into something extraordinary, always pushing for what’s next.

Known as the realist, Anke’s 10+ years in real estate finance and investments keep POHA House on a solid foundation, ensuring every step forward is a smart one.

Lea Mishra – Founder & CEO
Our go-getter Lea blends 6+ years in sales, digital marketing, and operations to fuel POHA’s growth and create a brand that stands out.

We make finding a home easy and stress-free with a fully digital journey, flexible leases, and ready-to-move-in spaces.

We prioritize sustainable, high-quality materials with emphasis on upcycled second-hand and cradle-to-cradle (C2C) materials such as biodegradable mushroom lamps.

We exclusively use renewable electricity from hydropower.

We build a vibrant, supportive community where residents and partners thrive together. Through green leases, we make sure that everyone shares common goals and is committed to meeting sustainability standards.

In partnership with Everwave, we tackle ocean pollution and collect waste on behalf of every resident every month.

engagement

We are motivating our team and residents to support the local community and volunteer in charity projects. Examples could be our engagement at Stift Tilbeck and the Children's Palliative Care Center Datteln.
