Beyond making sure our products are crafted intentionally, we try to think about the bigger picture of our impact - especially when it comes to sustainability and the environment around us. Not to be a downer, but the future of glaciers is limited due to the climate crisis. For that reason each item in our shop is named after a specific glacier - to bring awareness to these incredibly icy phenomenons while we still can.
Meet Fox and Franz - the side-by-side glaciers of New Zealand that descend from the Southern Alps to lower than 300 metres above sea level in the middle of a temperate rainforest. Fox is 13km in length and Franz Josef is 12, these best friends are unfortunately receeding.
